NOT SHUT UP magazine appears three times a year: February, June and October.
You can subscribe to Not Shut up as either an Individual, receiving one copy of each issue, for £9.50 a year or as an Organisation, receiving three copies of each issue, for £25 a year.
You can subscribe via PayPal using the buttons on the right.
Paypal will bill you for a second year (this is what is meant by “for two instalments”) so please notify us at the time if you do not want to renew your subscription.
You can also donate money to Not Shut Up using the Donate button. Not Shut Up is a registered charity (No. 1090610) and relies on donations and subscriptions to continue.
Examples of what your donation could help with are:
- £15 pays for one of the prizes we give for work in each issue (this is a valuable sum for a prisoner). We give £75 in prizes per issue, £225 is needed for a year of magazines
- £40 pays the fee we give to an ex-prisoner whose work is published (they are not eligible for prizes). We aim to have two pieces of work in each issue by ex-prisoners: £80 per issue, £240 is needed for a year.
- £60 pays the fee we offer, at our discretion, to a former prisoner who we interview. Such people, though having been clear of crime for many years, are often not well placed financially.
